I  MSC offers you the highest quality Aerial Work Platform (AWP) and Rough Terrain Forklift (RTFL) Operator Safety training in our industry. We accomplish this in part through the experience. Commitment and qualifications of our Trainers. Our Operator Training Program will assist you in complying with Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training regulations and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) responsibilities and best practices for AWP and RTFL machines.

The goal of this multi-dimensional training program is to make you proficient and knowledgeable in four key areas: Responsibility, Safety, Operation and Hands-on. It is available in both Spanish and English speaking classes.

AWP & RTFL OPERATOR SAFETY TRAINING

• Classroom time is approximately 2 hours, including lecture, video and exam.
• Reviews are conducted throughout the training session to keep important material fresh.
• Classes are performed at your location.
• Each student will be evaluated operating an AWP or RTFL. This lasts approximately 2-3 hours depending on the class size ( 8-12 students).
• Upon completion, each employee will receive a wallet size card and an 8 x 10 certificate.

TRAINING the TRAINER

• We train one or more of your employees to become operator safety trainers. Each Train the Trainer class includes the entire Forklift Operator Safety Training program outlined above.
• Formal Instruction  (lecture, discussion, interactive computer learning,video tape,written material).
• Practical Training (demonstrations by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee).
• Evaluation of the operator’s performance in the workplace.
• Instructions on record retention and documentation of training.
• Instruction and exercises on methods of teaching
• Sample forms for establishing a forklift safety policy at your company.

NOTE: Trainers are NOT required to be re-certified
every three years like certain operators;
however. they are responsible for keeping current
with changes in the Federal OSHA Laws.
